Here you will find answers to all the frequently asked questions about our luggage transport with practical solutions tailored to your needs.

LRC Bagagerie offers a door-to-door luggage transport serviceto travel without worrying about your suitcases.

We collect your belongings from your home (or workplace, for example) and deliver them to your destination (hotel, holiday village, cruise ship...) within 24 to 48 hours (working days).

You can send your luggage anywhere in France, Europe or the world. Independently for each shipment, France must be the country of departure or arrival.

Shipments outside Europe may be restricted depending on the customs and political constraints of the destination country. Consult us if in doubt.

The price of your shipment is calculated according to the city of departure and the city of arrivalThe number of pieces of luggage you wish to send, the dimensions and the weight.

You benefit from sliding scale tariffs depending on the number of bags per shipment. Transport costs are calculated according to of the actual weight or volumetric weight per piecewhichever is higher. Any part may be re-weighed or re-measured by the carrier to confirm the calculation.

Our rates are very competitive compared to airlines for an additional baggage item or a surcharge to be paid at the counter for exceeding the weight limit.

The most important elements are transport labels. You will need to attach them to each piece of luggage, parcel and piece of sports equipment in such a way that they are visible, legible and above all that they withstand transport constraints and handling.

You can track the progress of your luggage step by step and you will be notified of an upcoming delivery on the day itself by SMS and email. Shipments are delivered to the recipient address provided by the sender but are not necessarily handed directly to the designated recipient (for example, hotel or residence reception, concierge, a different recipient, etc.)

If you are not present or if no-one is available to receive the item, you can : *

  • Reschedule delivery date
  • Have your luggage delivered to a secure location
  • Leave your luggage with a neighbour, concierge or caretaker
  • Collect your baggage from a collection point or locker
  • Change delivery address (near the initial address).

*These options are available via the secure link sent by SMS and e-mail to the recipient on the day of delivery.

All shipments are checked and weighed.measured and compared with the declared dimensions and weight. In the event of a discrepancy, we will invoice you a lump sum of 30 € per item, plus the additional cost incurred as a result of the incorrect declaration and corresponding to the rate actually due. In accordance with the T&Cs accepted at the time of purchase, you allow us to invoice the additional amount due.

We deliver Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). This is why we advise you to hand in your equipment 4 to 5 days before your departure/arrivalBut don't worry, everything is taken care of on arrival.

LRC Bagagerie can carry all your personal belongings. However, we are unable to handle so-called dangerous items and legislation prohibits us from transporting certain objects or goods.
