When should you visit Les 2 Alpes?

Getting to the resort by car
Before reaching the station, plan your journey: the road is passable all year round, but snow tyres or chains are recommended. compulsory in winter.
Motorways A48 / A480 to Grenoble, then RD1091 towards Le Bourg-d'Oisans, and D213 to the village (gradual climb with switchbacks).
From Briançon / Italy Take the RD1091 towards Grenoble. At the Chambon dam, turn left. Take the D213 up to the resort.

The train is an excellent way to reach the two Alps.
Nearest and most convenient station to reach Les 2 Alpes. Served by TGV/TER from Paris (≈3 h), Lyon, Marseille, Lille and regional connections. Altibus shuttles, regional coaches and taxis/VTCs then provide the ascent (≈1 h 20), with increased frequency in winter.
Large central station with many national/international connections. Regional trains to Grenoble, then bus/shuttle connections to Les 2 Alpes.
Privileged access from the south (Provence/Occitania). Fast connections to Grenoble (≈1 h 30) before the final bus/shuttle ride up to the resort.
From Paris, To get there, allow 4 hours by train and 1 hour 20 by coach. Taxis and VTCs provide connections to accommodation.
