For those who prefer to travel independently, Méribel is easily accessible by road. Take the’A43 motorway to Albertville, then the N90 to Moûtiers, before taking the D90 for the final climb to Méribel. This well-maintained road offers superb panoramic views over the Tarentaise valley. Between the 1 November and 31 Marchthe loi Montagne requires snow tyres or to have chains/socks in the vehicle. We also recommend avoid closed collars in winter (Iseran, Madeleine, Petit-Saint-Bernard) and give preference to the route via Albertville - Moûtiers - Méribel.
The station has outdoor and covered car parks, in winter and free in summer. From free inter-neighbourhood shuttles which make it easy to move between the different sectors (Centre, Mottaret, Village).
