When should you go to Montgenèvre?

  • Winter : From December to early April depending on altitude. Quality snow cover thanks to the altitude of the village (~1 860 m), the’domain orientation and artificial snow equipment, various tracks on Montgenèvre & Monts de la Lune, links to the’Italy (Claviere, sector Monti della Luna) depending on opening.   • Summer : From June to September, the hiking, at MOUNTAIN BIKE, to legendary passes (Montgenèvre, Izoard, Galibier...), to high altitude lakes and the villages of the upper Durance valley and Clarée.
